8K 50fps 360° Video for Immersive Content

The Insta360 X6 supports 360-degree video recording at up to 8K 50fps, giving creators detailed panoramic footage with greater flexibility when editing.

Instead of deciding on one camera angle while recording, you can capture the entire surrounding scene and select your preferred framing later. This is useful for travel videos, adventure content, action sports, and social media clips.

The camera also supports:

• 8K 50fps 360° video
• 6K 60fps 360° video
• 5K 60fps flat video
• 4K 120fps flat video

Its high-resolution recording options allow creators to produce immersive footage, smooth action sequences, and conventionally framed videos from compatible recording modes.

120MP 360° Photos with Flexible Reframing

Capture expansive panoramic images with the Insta360 X6’s 120MP 360° photo capability.

The 360-degree capture approach lets you choose the composition after taking the picture, making it easier to capture landscapes, travel experiences, group photos, and action scenes without worrying about framing every moment.

The camera also supports RAW DNG photography for workflows that benefit from additional editing flexibility.

Dual Sony 1/1.1-Inch Sensors and Advanced Processing

The Insta360 X6 features dual custom Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors and a triple-chip processing system designed to improve image detail, dynamic range, and overall image processing.

Its AdaptiveTone 2.0 technology helps balance exposure between the two lenses, while PureVideo mode is designed to reduce noise and improve clarity in low-light environments.

These technologies make the camera suitable for creators recording a variety of scenes, from bright outdoor adventures to challenging lighting conditions.

FlowState Stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock

Keep your footage smooth while walking, cycling, running, or capturing fast-moving action.

The Insta360 X6 features FlowState Stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock, which help reduce unwanted camera movement and maintain a level horizon in supported shooting modes.

These features are particularly useful for action sports, travel vlogging, motorcycle rides, and other situations where keeping the camera steady can be difficult.

Invisible Selfie Stick Effect

Create third-person perspectives without the selfie stick appearing in the final 360° footage when using a compatible invisible selfie stick.

This effect helps produce distinctive shots that look as though the camera is floating beside or behind you. It is useful for travel videos, hiking, cycling, action sports, and creative social media content.

10-Bit Color, I-Log and Dolby Vision

The Insta360 X6 offers advanced color and video options for creators who want greater flexibility in their editing workflow.

• 10-bit color: Supports richer color information in compatible recording modes.
• I-Log: Provides a log-style profile for color grading in supported modes.
• Dolby Vision: Offers compatible HDR video capabilities.

These features help creators tailor footage for different production styles, from quick social media videos to more carefully edited projects.

Bright 2.32-Inch OLED Touchscreen

The camera features a 2.32-inch OLED touchscreen with a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits.

The bright display makes it easier to access camera settings, review framing, and operate the camera outdoors. Its Always-On Display provides quick access to key information, while pressure-sensitive controls are designed to help reduce accidental touches.

The vertical body design keeps the dual cameras positioned on opposite sides for 360-degree capture.

Replaceable Lenses for Easier Maintenance

The Insta360 X6 features a replaceable lens design, providing added convenience for users who frequently record action footage or travel in demanding environments.

Replaceable lenses can simplify maintenance if a compatible lens becomes damaged, helping reduce the inconvenience associated with a camera that requires a complete unit replacement.

IP68 Waterproof Design for Outdoor Adventures

The Insta360 X6 is rated IP68 and waterproof up to 20 meters without a dive case, according to the supplied product information.

For deeper underwater activities, an optional Invisible Dive Case Pro supports use at depths of up to 60 meters under the manufacturer’s specified conditions.

This makes the camera suitable for travel, outdoor adventures, water activities, and compatible underwater recording setups.

Always follow the manufacturer’s depth, sealing, and maintenance instructions before using the camera underwater.

2,600mAh Battery and Fast Charging

The Insta360 X6 uses a 2,600mAh Xtreme Battery designed to support extended recording sessions.

Insta360 claims up to 140 minutes of recording at 8K 30fps under specified conditions. Actual battery life varies depending on resolution, frame rate, temperature, connectivity, and shooting settings.

The camera also supports fast charging, reaching approximately 80% charge in around 24 minutes under compatible conditions. Its Star-Ridge cooling system is designed to improve heat dissipation during recording.

For longer shoots, compatible external power accessories can provide additional flexibility.

64GB Internal Storage and microSD Expansion

The Insta360 X6 includes 64GB of built-in flash storage, with approximately 47GB available for user files, alongside support for a compatible microSD card.

This gives you flexibility when recording large 360-degree video files during travel, events, and action activities.

For faster file transfers, the camera supports:

• Wi-Fi 6: Wireless transfers of up to 100MB/s under specified conditions
• USB 3.1 Type-C: Wired transfer speeds of up to 450MB/s under specified conditions

• 16K Timelapse Export: Supported through Insta360 Studio for compatible time-lapse workflows.
• Spatial Capture: Supports 3D Gaussian Splatting workflows for creating interactive 3D representations of captured spaces.
